Careers Day - What do you want to do when you're older?

Last week we were so honoured to be part of careers day at Anchorsholme Academy, it was such an incredible day and we were absolutely blown away by how amazing every single student was! They really did do their school and their parents proud!

Mrs Lund asked us if we'd like to take part as business owners, every year there are lots of traditional jobs such as Firefighters, Doctors, Police and it was lovely to see some very different careers being showcased! We got to meet some other fabulous business owners too which was lovely! Photographer, Events Planner, Author... (At one point David was wondering around looking for his next career move i'm sure!)

The children were 'released' into the school hall where lots of different tables were set up then they were free to ask questions and look around, it was fascinating to chat to these wonderful children, hearing what they want to do in the future and what they find exciting. One little boy told me he wanted to own a shop too when he's older, 'you know a little bit like Primark, a little bit like Sainsburys! I've started saving in my money box' I know this young chap will go far!
