Why is linen so great for the summer?
It's lightweight - linen is naturally lightweight which makes it comfortable and easy to wear even when it gets hot - also great for anyone who experiences hot flushes (a.k.a power surges) as it helps regulate our body temperature by providing a cooling effect.
It softens over time - as a natural fabric linen can start off feeling crisp and some times even stiff, but each time it's washed and worn it becomes softer and even more comfortable - the more you wear it, the more you'll love it!
It naturally wrinkles which gives a classic, relaxed, summer look - no fuss, linen isn't meant to be smooth and crease free - it's meant to be relaxed and care free 
Breathability - Again, due to it's natural nature it's a lovely, loosely woven fibre which allows more airflow - this allows air to circulate and heat to escape
