What would you do if you best friend spoke to you the way that you speak to you? 🤔

What would you do if you best friend spoke to you the way that you speak to you? 🤔

Being in our boutique is incredible, I still pinch myself every day that I get to call this work! However, I find it so tough and sad when ladies speak so harshly about themselves, wow we can be brutal when it's about us! We would never dream of talking about someone else that way so why do we think it's ok when it's about us?!
.
It is hard, believe me I get it! I definitely don't have the body I dream of having but I can appreciate what it does/has done for me, I know I need to be kind to myself. Every day I stand taking pictures of myself, (you wouldn't believe how much I hate being in photos, if there's ever a group photo being taken I'm the first one volunteering to take it!). I have only very recently stopped judging myself so harshly, 'Oh my tummy looks big there, My knees are knobbly, You can see my scar on my nose, You can see my strange underarm 🤣' But you know what, who cares? We all have our hang ups, I try my best to be a good person and I don't think a wobbly tummy or knobbly knees undoes that!

So, a challenge for you ladies, next time you're in the changing room don't grab and poke and prod and scrutinise, stop, take a minute to say something nice about yourself, what would you say to your friend if they were the one in the mirror looking back at you? Focus on how incredible your body is, what it does for you daily 🫶

You are amazing, now start telling yourself that and maybe one day soon you'll believe it 🫶
